It was 3am in the morning on Friday and I was in so much pain that I needed to find a place nearby that still had available slots for me on Friday. I found King Thai Massage on Yonge & St Clair, I read the Google reviews, the good ones and the bad ones, I booked my appointment online, picked the massage therapist whose names kept coming up in the good reviews (Benci), and received a confirmation of my appointment.
Amazing as always! I used to visit here regularly when I lived in the city. I moved away and it’s been at least 5 years since I’ve visited… nothing has changed. Therapists are professionally trained in (Thai) massage, and within 15-30 mins, they’ll know your muscles better than you do.
This is the first negative review I’ve given and I hope it will lead to more hygienic and professional practices: Within minutes of starting my Thai massage, I noticed that the masseuse had brought her phone onto the table and was using it to read while holding stretches. It was extremely unprofessional and unhygienic, to say the least. Then, I noticed that the oil bottle was dirty, with hair stuck to the side. I regret booking and wish I had read more of the negative reviews first.
